Over the weekend, I shot two new events at Swan Lake Golf Resort - the first was a surprise
60th birthday golf outing, and the second was a family portrait during a 50th wedding anniversary. I was a fun experience all around, and I learned a LOT (especially about photographing golf!).
Alison & Alex's wedding brings to a close my busiest season on record - over the last 6 weeks I've personally photographed more than 15,000 individual images. Even better, I ended this crazy stretch with a fantastic wedding a a ton of great images.

Today was relaxed, fun, and completely wonderful. Katie & Hamish did exactly what the best bridal subjects do: completely ignore me and pay full attention to each other. I got tons of beautiful photos of just them, completely in to each other. It really is a privelege to have the opportunity to photograph people who are so amazingly in love with each other. Thanks to the Allanson & McFadden families for including me in their very special day!

Lauren & Joel's wedding was simply beautiful - In front of a packed church, 7 Catholic Priests, both of them were completely in love and more than willing to show that love with everyone. I can honestly say that there was not a dry cheek in the house, as everyone was crying.

This is the second time I've had the good fortune to document a wedding for the Dvorak family, and the first time I've had the pleasure of meeting the Brennans. My thanks go out to the Brennans and Dvoraks, it was absolutely my pleasure to be included in your special day!
Goose poo at Notre Dame aside, it was an absolutely wonderful day, and I have a new favorite image to add to my collection (it's the one at the left, hint, hint). What makes my job so great, so personally enjoyable to me is that I get to see people at their best, their happiest, their most joyfull and loving. I'm lucky enough to be allowed a small window into their lives, and through that sharing I get to document their special, unique day and present that back to them, their friends and families.
This was my first time at the new Hilton Garden Inn in South Bend, and the dancing out on the garden was nothing short of spectacular. Once again, we had an absolutely wonderful time, and my thanks go out to the Webbs, Myers' and all of their friends and families!

I just posted yesterday about feeling like I've seen it all, and once again I am proven wrong. Susan & Zach's wedding reception was full of competition ballroom dancers, and we were treated to some of the finest wedding dancing I've seen in a very long time.
And that is aside from all of the lovely Dutch wedding traditions that the Vandervlughts shared with all of their wedding guests throughout the day.
I'm very grateful to both the Whites, Vandervlughts, and all of their guests for making us a part of their day. We were so happy to be there! Their photos will be online just as soon as possible, but until then, please check out their Instant Memories Slideshow!
